Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist at Team Rockstars IT, you will be the driving force behind data-driven decisions. You will analyze complex datasets, develop advanced algorithms, and translate results into concrete recommendations. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and create data solutions that truly make a difference. This includes:

• Building predictive models for, for example, customer behavior, fraud detection, or inventory optimization.
• Developing and implementing machine learning models in production environments.
• Performing A/B tests and analyzing the results to drive product improvements.
• Advising clients on data strategies and the implementation of AI solutions.
• Designing dashboards and reports to visualize complex insights.

Requirements

• A completed Master's or PhD in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, AI, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or similar).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar role.
• Expertise in Python and/or R and experience with relevant libraries (scikit-learn, pandas, numpy, TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Experience with SQL and databases (relational and/or NoSQL).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to clearly present complex analyses to a broad audience.
• You are proactive, analytical, and results-oriented.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
