Introduction

As a Data Scientist at Sopra Steria, you will work on projects where data truly makes a difference. You will apply AI in practice, from fraud detection to analyzing payment flows, and from recommendation systems to NLP solutions for the government.

Responsibilities

• Building, testing, and improving machine learning models.
• Applying deep learning, NLP, computer vision, or anomaly detection.
• Bringing models into production using MLOps principles.
• Collaborating with colleagues from various expertises, both technical and strategic.
• Interpreting customer data, substantiating findings, and translating them into concrete value.

Requirements

• A Master's degree or comparable experience in data science, machine learning, or AI.
• Experience with Python or R.
• Knowledge of supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, or NLP.
• Experience with bringing models into production, for example via Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Affinity with explainable AI, MLOps, or anomaly detection.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
