About the Position

Team Rockstars IT is looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to data-driven projects for leading Dutch companies.

Responsibilities

Transform data to add significant value to our clients' businesses.
Set up data pipelines.
Develop and optimize ETL processes.
Implement data warehouses.
Ensure solid data quality and governance.
Operate primarily within the Microsoft Azure and/or AWS ecosystem.
Advise organizations on their data strategy.
Collaborate closely with data scientists, business analysts, and other engineers to deliver optimal solutions.
Strive for the highest possible quality in all data engineering efforts.

Requirements

Minimum HBO (Bachelor's) level of education or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Data Engineer.
Demonstrable experience with Azure and/or AWS (including Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, SQL Database, Storage Accounts, Purview, Glue, S3, Redshift, Athena, Lambda).
Experience with data modeling and DWH concepts (Kimball, Data Vault).
In-depth knowledge of SQL and Python.
Experience with CI/CD (e.g., Azure DevOps, GitHub).
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

Knowledge of Power BI.

Monthly salary between €5,000 - €7,000 (based on 40 hours) plus an annual performance-based bonus.
