Introduction

As a Data Engineer at Sopra Steria, you will be responsible for connecting, organizing, and making data accessible to enable our clients to use it effectively. You will design, implement, and maintain data pipelines using ETL/ELT processes.

Responsibilities

• Connect, organize, and make data accessible for clients.
• Design, implement, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Regularly consult with Information Analysts to provide a technical framework for business requirements of medium complexity.
• Collaborate on architectural issues and identify potential technical and process-related bottlenecks.
• Propose solutions for identified issues.
• Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality.
• Demonstrate courage, proactive communication skills, and a strong analytical approach.

Requirements

• Passion for digital transformation and technology consultancy.
• HBO or university degree in IT.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with building data pipelines using technologies such as Azure Data Factory (ADF), Informatica Cloud, Synapse Pro, Spark, Python, R, Kubernetes, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS.
• Advanced SQL knowledge.
• Experience in data modeling and data integration (on-premise and/or cloud).
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
