Data Architect

Introduction

As a Data Architect, you will help organizations organize and structure their increasingly complex data landscape. You will map all data processes and design and implement the required data platform architectures, acting as a key player for all stakeholders. Your role involves laying the foundation for data-driven operations, translating ambitions into realistic roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Organize and structure complex data landscapes.
• Map all data processes within organizations.
• Design and implement data platform architectures.
• Act as a key liaison between various stakeholders.
• Lay the groundwork for data-driven operations.
• Translate organizational ambitions into realistic data roadmaps.

Requirements

• HBO or WO degree in IT.
• Approximately 2 years of experience as a Data Architect.
• Preferably TOGAF certified.
• Experience with:
  • Data, data structures, and data mapping.
  • Data modeling (data vault, dimensional, semantic).
  • Cloud technologies.
  • Complex data integration challenges, including combining relational and non-relational data, structured and unstructured data, semantic data, and geographical data.
  • Languages, tools, and methodologies in the field, including but not limited to: ETL/ELT, Cloud (-native), AI, Data Science, SQL and No-SQL, RDF (Linked Data), Knowledge graphs, Privacy, and Security.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to bridge the gap between the functional user world and the technical developer world.
• Strong in stakeholder and expectation management.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
