As a Data Architect at ilionx, you are a crucial link in realizing our clients' data strategy. You translate their business needs into effective and future-proof data architectures. You design and implement complex data solutions, ranging from data lakes and data warehouses to advanced analytics platforms. You are not only a technical expert but also a strategic thinker who looks beyond current challenges and anticipates future developments.

Responsibilities

Designing scalable and flexible data architectures that meet specific customer needs.
Advising clients on the latest technologies and best practices in data management, big data, analytics, and AI.
Guiding project teams in implementing data solutions, serving as a technical point of contact and quality guardian.
Developing standards and guidelines for data governance, data quality, and data security.
Actively contributing to knowledge sharing within ilionx, for example, by giving training, workshops, or writing articles.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
In-depth knowledge of various data architecture patterns, such as Data Mesh, Data Fabric, Data Lakehouse.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and relevant data services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, Spark, Kafka).
Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and solve complex problems.
Excellent communication skills and strong advisory capabilities.
A completed HBO or university degree in a relevant field, such as computer science, data science, or business analytics.
