Responsibilities

As a Data Analytics Engineer, you will be an essential link in our data projects. You will work on challenging data integration and modeling initiatives. Whether it's building a data warehouse, setting up ETL processes, implementing data lakes, or optimizing data pipelines, you'll be involved. You will blend technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and consulting skills to transform data into valuable insights for our clients. Your responsibilities will include:

Designing, building, and maintaining data warehouses and data lakes.
Developing and implementing ETL/ELT processes for data integration.
Modeling data for reports and analyses.
Optimizing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
Advising clients on data strategies and best practices.
Collaborating with Data Scientists and Business Intelligence specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Contributing to knowledge sharing within our Data & AI team and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

Completed HBO or university education in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Artificial Intelligence).
Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant work experience as a Data Analytics Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
In-depth knowledge and experience with data warehouse and data lake concepts.
Proficient in SQL and experienced with at least one programming language (Python, Scala, Java, etc.).
Experience with ETL/ELT tools and techniques (e.g., SSIS, Azure Data Factory, DBT, Fivetran, Stitch).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and associated data services.
Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Qlik Sense).
Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).
