Introduction

Junior AI is looking for a founding Data Analyst to join their team in New York. This role involves building the company's entire analytics infrastructure from scratch, supporting a product that uses Large Language Models (LLMs) to revolutionize investment research for top-tier private equity and consulting firms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition of user engagement and retention strategies.
• Utilize Python, SQL, and modern Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
• Leverage AI assistants to generate complex data pipelines and visualizations.
• Focus on extracting narrative value from data.

Requirements

• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Proficiency with modern BI tools (e.g., Metabase, Looker, Tableau).
• Strong understanding of data analysis and product analytics.
• Ability to perform data visualization and funnel analysis.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Pandas, Matplotlib, Plotly.
• Familiarity with Amplitude, Mixpanel, CRM.
• Knowledge of churn modeling, feature adoption, business intelligence, data pipelines, and executive reporting.
• Experience with AI tools and "vibe coding".
• Background in investment research, private equity, B2B SaaS, Fintech, or enterprise software.
