Introduction

We are seeking a Cryptocurrency Market Analyst with a proven portfolio in decentralized finance (DeFi), yield farming, cryptocurrency lending, and trading. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical understanding of Proof of Work (PoW) and Proof of Stake (PoS) cryptocurrencies, coupled with the ability to perform high-level data analysis. You will be instrumental in expanding our cryptocurrency investment portfolio, focusing on fundamental analysis to uncover new opportunities in DeFi, NFTs, and Web3 tokenomics.

Responsibilities

• Identify, track, and research new or undervalued crypto projects for potential investment.
• Conduct business and cryptocurrency valuations.
• Calculate risks and explore new investment opportunities within the crypto space.
• Monitor market trends and investment portfolios.
• Utilize advanced research tools to enhance go-to-market strategies.
• Analyze and predict trends, pricing, demand, and trading volumes of various cryptocurrencies.
• Assist in designing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for our investment portfolio and watchlist.
• Apply technical, fundamental, and quantitative analysis to form opinions and generate high-quality content rapidly to keep pace with the dynamic cryptocurrency market.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Quantitative Analysis, Investment Banking, or Accounting.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar analytical or research role.
• Exceptional research and analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Deep understanding of the cryptocurrency industry and a demonstrated ability to research and assess new projects effectively.
• Thorough knowledge of financial analysis and investment strategies.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying investment opportunities.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
• A team player capable of working independently.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Passion for and up-to-date knowledge of the rapidly evolving blockchain technology landscape.
• Self-driven with the ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
