DRW is currently seeking a senior investment professional to lead the design and implementation of derivative investment strategies and portfolio construction across crypto markets. This role requires deep options expertise combined with a holistic understanding of crypto trading, portfolio construction, asset allocation, and fiduciary responsibility. The successful candidate will operate across OTC, CEX, and DeFi implementations.

Responsibilities

• Portfolio Construction: Lead strategy design, mandate management alignment, liquidity management, and fiduciary oversight.
• Options & Derivatives Strategy: Design and implement options strategies including yield enhancement, hedging, volatility capture, delta-neutral, and structured products. Manage multi-venue execution (OTC, CEX, and DeFi), leverage exotic/vanilla pricing expertise, implement real-time Greeks management, and oversee bespoke OTC structuring.
• Quantitative Analysis & Research: Develop proprietary models for pricing, implied volatility, and risk. Establish volatility forecasting frameworks, conduct backtesting and validation, analyze performance attribution, and engage in ongoing academic/practitioner research.
• DeFi & On-Chain Strategy: Identify DeFi yield and hedging opportunities, perform smart contract risk assessment, integrate on-chain data, implement vault-based and AMM strategies, and monitor DeFi-specific risks.
• Risk Management & Compliance: Conduct VaR, stress testing, and scenario analysis. Monitor drawdown and liquidity, manage counterparty credit risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and handle institutional-standard documentation.
• Team Development & Leadership: Mentor junior team members, foster intellectual rigor, and contribute to operational infrastructure and scaling.

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years in trading, with ideally 4+ years managing crypto portfolios. Proven track record in options/derivatives trading, with experience across OTC, CEX, and DeFi.
• Education: Quantitative degree required (Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Financial Engineering, Statistics, Economics). Master's/PhD preferred. CFA/FRM/CQF advantageous.
• Quant Skills: Strong understanding of options pricing theory. Proficient programmer with experience using quantitative libraries. Familiarity with PMS/RMS/OMS platforms.
• Crypto Knowledge: Expertise with blockchain analytics tools, on-chain data sources, smart contract mechanics, and DeFi protocol evaluation.
