Introduction

Are you ready to become our new consultant? If you have at least 1.5 years of experience collaborating with clients or using AFAS software and a strong drive for continuous development, we offer a culture where growth is celebrated. That works! One hundred percent.

Because you already have at least 1.5 years of experience, we can bring you up to speed in 12 months through our traineeship. During these months, we will embark on a journey together. You with your eager-to-learn attitude, and us in a supportive and facilitating role. What does that lead to? Certainly, many moments of success. For our (14,000+!) customers, for our organization, and for yourself.

So that you can start as a fully-fledged software consultant within 12 months.

Responsibilities

As a consultant, you help customers get the most out of AFAS software. You look beyond the immediate question, take responsibility, and make a difference for clients. You will delve into issues, conduct discussions with customers, and work with colleagues to ensure that solutions truly work in practice.

Your tasks will include:

• Solving substantive questions about our software.
• Analyzing and improving business processes.
• Translating customer questions into smart, working solutions.
• Conducting in-depth discussions and providing well-founded advice.
• Collaborating with colleagues from consultancy, support, product development, and success management.

You take responsibility, are a reliable sparring partner for customers and colleagues, and ensure that customers progress. You will see direct results from your work and grow along with the company.

Requirements

• HBO or WO (higher professional education or university) thinking and working level.
• Ability to work 32 hours per week (we work four days a week, Friday is your dedicated development day).
• Interest in business processes and continuously identifying opportunities to automate and digitize them.
• Great enthusiasm to learn and to make AFAS 1% better every day.
• Affinity with software and customer contact.
• Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in collaborating with clients. For example, as a consultant, account manager, or project leader. You have worked with clients on projects and therefore understand how to guide them.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with AFAS software.
• A proactive and inquisitive mindset.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
