Community Moderator (Telegram & Discord)

Introduction

SparkyFi is seeking a sharp and fast-thinking Community Moderator to cultivate a high-signal, high-energy community across Telegram and Discord. This role is more than just moderation; it's about shaping the culture of a movement as we build the future of AI-powered DeFi guidance.

Responsibilities

• Moderate Telegram and Discord communities daily, focusing on engagement, safety, and maintaining a positive tone.
• Respond quickly and professionally to user questions, guiding them and ensuring high-quality conversations.
• Welcome new members and direct them to key resources such as the waitlist and Sparky Chat.
• Proactively identify and remove spam, scams, and low-quality noise from community channels.
• Initiate and spark conversations around DeFi, AI, and market trends.
• Support the execution of announcements, contests, and community campaigns.
• Escalate important feedback, bugs, or user insights to the core team.

Requirements

• Active participation in crypto communities (Telegram, Discord, X).
• Strong understanding of DeFi basics (e.g., liquidity pools, staking, risk management).
• Clear, confident, and professional communication skills, with the ability to respond quickly.
• High awareness of common scams, bots, and community threats in the crypto space.
• Proven ability to maintain a calm, positive, and structured community environment.
• A self-starter mentality, capable of working independently without constant direction.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience moderating crypto or Web3 communities.
• Familiarity with moderation bots such as Rose or MEE6.
• A keen interest in the convergence of AI and DeFi.
