Introduction

Niubi Bank is seeking an entrepreneurial and driven Co-founder & CEO to lead the company from its foundational stages through significant growth. This is a unique opportunity to build a crypto-native banking infrastructure that bridges decentralized wealth with the world's largest payment network, UnionPay.

Responsibilities

• Lead Seed through Series A fundraising rounds to drive category expansion and secure necessary capital.
• Architect comprehensive regulatory strategies across key markets, ensuring compliance while preserving privacy-first principles.
• Establish and cultivate banking partnerships, including securing UnionPay tier upgrades to enhance service offerings.
• Design robust compliance frameworks that effectively satisfy regulatory requirements without compromising the no-KYC user experience.
• Scale operational capabilities from thousands to millions of active cards, managing rapid growth and demand.
• Build, lead, and mentor executive teams across critical functions such as Product, Risk, and Operations.
• Define and evolve the product roadmap, transitioning from virtual cards to a full crypto-native banking infrastructure.
• Partner closely with the technical founder to accelerate growth, foster institutional trust, and execute the company's vision.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fundraising (Seed through Series A) within FinTech or Blockchain sectors.
• Strong background in regulatory strategy and compliance, ideally within payments or banking.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and manage strategic partnerships, particularly with financial institutions.
• Experience scaling operations in a high-growth environment.
• Track record of building and leading high-performing executive teams.
• Deep understanding of the crypto ecosystem, DeFi, and payment networks (UnionPay experience highly valued).
• Ability to define and execute complex product roadmaps.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior co-founder experience or experience in a senior leadership role at a startup.
• Familiarity with the Solana ecosystem.
