Introduction

Are you passionate about building cloud architectures that are not only well-designed but also scalable and secure in practice? As a Cloud Architect at Sopra Steria, you will work on complex environments for both public organizations and enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize cloud solutions with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.
• Utilize technologies like Kubernetes and Docker for containerization and orchestration of applications.
• Work with cloud-native solutions, serverless architectures, and DevOps methodologies.
• Contribute to technical decision-making and assist organizations in advancing their cloud adoption.
• Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure solutions integrate with existing IT landscapes and are ready for future growth.
• Contribute to stable and future-proof environments.

Requirements

• Completed HBO degree in an IT-related field.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Red Hat.
• Knowledge of container platforms like Kubernetes and OpenShift, and cloud-native solutions.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, for example, Terraform, Bicep, or Ansible.
• Familiarity with observability tooling such as Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, or Dynatrace.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, GitHub, or GitLab.
• Knowledge of deployment methods like GitOps, Helm, and ArgoCD.
• Familiarity with security tooling such as SonarCloud, Snyk, Checkmarx, or Dependency Track.
• Experience with DevOps, DevSecOps, or SRE methodologies.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

• Permanent contract and a salary up to €6,500 per month based on 40 hours.
