About the Position

Introduction

AppyThings is seeking a Cloud Integration Consultant to design how systems communicate across modern enterprise landscapes. In this role, you will work with API platforms, cloud services, and event-driven patterns to create secure, scalable integrations. This position requires you to be located in the Netherlands.

As an Integration Consultant at AppyThings, you will be the crucial link in designing and implementing robust integration solutions for clients. You will be responsible for identifying customer needs, translating them into technical designs, and then developing and deploying integrations using cutting-edge cloud technologies.

From initial contact to final implementation, you will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients. You will analyze existing systems, define integration strategies, and ensure seamless data flow between various applications and platforms. Collaboration with internal development teams and client stakeholders will be key to delivering solutions that are both technically sound and strategically aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Design and implement API-driven integration solutions.
Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Develop event-driven architectures.
Ensure the security, scalability, and maintainability of all integrations.
Provide expert advice and technical leadership to clients.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Integration Consultant or in a similar role.
Extensive experience with API platforms (e.g., Apigee, Mulesoft, Azure API Management).
Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Event Hubs).
Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.
Proactive attitude and a strong sense of responsibility.
A completed HBO/WO education in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Informatics).
You must reside in the Netherlands or be willing to relocate.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
