Introduction

Team Rockstars IT is seeking a Cloud Engineer with a focus on infrastructure and platform engineering. If you are passionate about building, maintaining, and optimizing robust and scalable cloud environments, then you are the Rockstars we are looking for!

Responsibilities

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud infrastructures. You will work on challenging projects for various clients, applying the latest technologies and best practices. You will be an expert in building automated pipelines and ensuring quality control and security.

Your daily tasks will include:

• Designing and implementing scalable and secure cloud solutions.
• Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration (Infrastructure as Code).
• Managing and optimizing existing cloud environments.
• Advising clients on cloud strategies and architectures.
• Solving complex technical problems and performing root cause analyses.
• Ensuring continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Ensuring security and compliance within the cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

Additionally, you should possess:

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Cloud Engineer.
• Experience with major (hyperscale) clouds such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• In-depth knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Good command of both Dutch and English languages.
• HBO/WO (higher professional education/university) work and thinking level.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

• An attractive salary between €4,000 and €7,000 gross per month, depending on your knowledge and experience.
