Cloud DevOps Engineer

Introduction

As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Team Rockstars IT, you will be a crucial link in the development and maintenance of robust and scalable cloud infrastructures. You will work with talented teams on challenging projects for leading clients, combining your deep knowledge of both development and operational processes to create and implement innovative solutions. Your expertise will enable you to solve complex issues and apply the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and managing automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Setting up and maintaining cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Monitoring and optimizing systems for performance, security, and cost.
• Advising clients on best practices in cloud and DevOps.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and tools.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experienced with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Proactive, analytical, and strong communication skills.
• Completed HBO or WO education in a relevant field.
• Possess relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) or willing to obtain them.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
