With our in-depth knowledge of software, data, cloud, AI, and security, we help our clients stay ahead in a rapidly changing digital world. We are looking for an experienced and driven Cloud Architect to strengthen our team. As a Cloud Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex cloud solutions for various clients, ranging from innovative startups to established multinationals. You will translate business needs into technical designs, guide development teams, and ensure seamless integration of cloud-native services.

Responsibilities

Design, document, and implement robust, scalable, and secure cloud architectures based on client needs.
Advise clients on the best cloud strategies, technologies, and best practices (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Guide development teams in implementing cloud solutions and promote the adoption of DevOps principles and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Conduct technical assessments and identify bottlenecks in existing infrastructures, with the goal of continuous improvement and optimization.
Contribute to the development of our internal knowledge base and the growth of the Cloud Engineering community within Team Rockstars IT.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience as a Cloud Architect, Senior Cloud Engineer, or a comparable role.
In-depth knowledge and experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and relevant certifications.
Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates).
Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions).
Knowledge of network, security, and compliance aspects within the cloud.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly convey complex technical concepts to various stakeholders.
A proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovation.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
