About the Position
Introduction
We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth within specific market segments such as Fintech, Crypto, SaaS, eCommerce, and Hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Focus on new business acquisition, including sourcing leads, lead qualification, negotiation, and closing new accounts.
- Be the first point of contact for new business, following up on inbound leads and actively searching for the best merchants/partners for Mollie.
- Evangelise Mollie’s products and services to ensure a perfect fit with the client’s payment needs.
- Understand payment preferences, challenges, and opportunities of customers and partners in the relevant market segment.
- Work closely with various internal teams to meet objectives for revenue, new business additions, strategic retention, and overall customer experience.
- Represent Mollie at industry events, conferences, and networking functions.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in a SaaS, FinTech, Payments, or Crypto environment.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) and the local language for the market you will focus on.
