Business Development Director, Fintech & Payments at Paxos

Introduction

Paxos is seeking a highly driven and experienced Business Development Director to lead the creation and expansion of a new stablecoin offering for our global payments initiatives. This role focuses on integrating stablecoin technology into merchant acceptance, payout, and settlement flows, playing a pivotal part in transforming the payments landscape. Responsibilities

• Forge close partnerships with Product, Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Product Marketing, Legal, and Finance teams to conceptualize and bring to market innovative product solutions.
• Develop comprehensive go-to-market strategies in collaboration with cross-functional partners, establishing clear direction, goals, timelines, and milestones for product development.
• Navigate regulatory landscapes in tandem with Legal (Commercial & Regulatory) experts, ensuring regulatory compliance and facilitating strategic partnerships through well-crafted contracts.
• Work hand-in-hand with Paxos leadership and key stakeholders to align on strategic objectives, optimize resource utilization, and ensure the execution of strategic initiatives.
• Spearhead the identification, negotiation, and closure of partnerships with top-tier executives from global enterprises, driving the launch of groundbreaking products across fintech, payments, and financial institutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience working cross-functionally in fintech, financial services, or digital assets to launch new products from 0 to 1.
• Strong experience selling B2B enterprise technology into domestic and global enterprises.
• Demonstrated experience building in regulated environments.
• Adaptability and effectiveness in a fast-moving and dynamic industry.
• Comfortable with a compensation model offering a 60/40 base-to-bonus split and driven by opportunities to maximize earning potential.
