Responsibilities

• Work on a large-scale, business-critical application that plays a central role in multiple business processes.
• Independently perform business and information analyses.
• Analyze and improve business processes and information flows.
• Translate complex business questions into clear functional requirements.
• Prepare and review analyses, documentation, and reports.
• Identify bottlenecks, risks, and improvement opportunities within chains.
• Coordinate and advise stakeholders such as business, IT, and management.
• Actively contribute to Agile/Lean initiatives and the further development of systems.
• Ensure the quality, coherence, and feasibility of solutions.

Requirements

• Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) thinking level, preferably in business administration, information management, (business) informatics, public administration, or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as a Business Analyst, Information Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Experience with stakeholder alignment within a complex organization.
• Familiar with working in an IT and information-driven environment.
• Experience with Agile and/or Lean methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills, communicative, and able to work independently.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

The organization plays a central role in various digital collaborations and works with different public and private partners. Within the department, you will collaborate with approximately 20 HBO and WO professionals and external specialists. As a Medior Business Analyst, you will have ample space to operate independently. You are responsible for conducting analyses, clarifying issues, and advising stakeholders.
