Business Analyst

Introduction

As a Business Analyst at Sopra Steria, you will translate client questions into clear, achievable solutions. You will map processes, analyze bottlenecks, and advise on improvements that add real value. You will work at the intersection of business and IT, connecting both worlds.

You will regularly consult with stakeholders, ensure requirements are complete and precise, and always keep the end goal in mind. You will work for clients in various sectors, from government to finance, with each assignment requiring new insights and tailor-made solutions. This role operates in a hybrid model, with Groningen as your primary base.

Responsibilities

• Translate client questions into clear and achievable solutions.
• Map business processes and identify bottlenecks.
• Advise on value-adding improvements.
• Act as a liaison between business and IT.
• Regularly align with stakeholders to ensure complete and precise requirements.
• Maintain focus on the end goal throughout projects.
• Work with clients across diverse sectors (government, finance, etc.).

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp information.
• Ability to ask the right questions, even in complex situations.
• Skilled at switching between different organizational levels.
• Comfortable in a dynamic environment and able to maintain an overview when multiple tasks are in play.
• Minimum of a HBO or WO degree (Bachelor's or Master's).
• At least two years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst.
• Understanding of how processes work and how they can be improved.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Ability to keep a cool head under pressure and seamlessly switch between technical and business perspectives.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
