Introduction

Anchorage Digital is building the world's most advanced digital asset platform, enabling institutions to safely participate in the crypto ecosystem. We are seeking a highly skilled and deeply knowledgeable Blockchain Specialist to join our Product team. In this role, you will be the team's foremost expert on blockchain protocols, driving our understanding of how they operate at a fundamental level.

Responsibilities

• Develop profound expertise in blockchain protocols, consensus mechanisms, and on-chain operations such as staking, vesting, and governance.
• Conduct in-depth research and analysis of protocol whitepapers, technical documentation, and market data, translating findings into actionable insights.
• Lead the comprehensive lifecycle of asset diligence projects, from initial research to final recommendation.
• Navigate and address ambiguity in emerging protocol designs, making informed judgment calls on prioritization.
• Understand and articulate the impact of protocol decisions on Anchorage Digital's product roadmap and client offerings.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure engineering, product, and sales teams possess the necessary protocol knowledge.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise documentation, reports, and presentations for diverse internal and external audiences.
• Build trust with stakeholders by proactively sharing relevant market trends, opportunities, and risks.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in blockchain/crypto, technical research, or a related field, with a demonstrated deep understanding of protocol mechanics.
• Proven ability to read and interpret protocol whitepapers, technical documentation, and on-chain data, and effectively present findings to engineering, product, design, and sales teams.
• Familiarity with prominent crypto analysis tools, including block explorers (e.g., Etherscan, Solscan) and data aggregators.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the capacity to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• A collaborative mindset and extensive experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with specific institutional-grade blockchain solutions or platforms.
• Prior roles involving direct client engagement in a technical capacity.
