About the Position

Introduction

Crypto.com is seeking a Blockchain Security AI Application Support Engineer to join our highly experienced Security Team. This role is crucial in safeguarding our user base through ensuring the stability, availability, and security of our production applications and blockchain infrastructure. You will leverage your expertise in AI and blockchain technologies to innovate support processes and stay ahead of evolving threats in the crypto space.

Responsibilities

Production Excellence & Stability
- Take primary responsibility for ensuring the stability and availability of production applications and blockchain infrastructure.
- Oversee pre-production and staging environments for seamless delivery.
- Lead incident triage, conduct deep-dive root cause analysis (RCA), and manage post-resolution follow-ups.
- Coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR) testing, audits, and continuous improvement of monitoring tools and processes.
AI & Automation Innovation
- Apply hands-on AI experience to build tools and agents that automate repetitive support tasks, triage, and reporting.
Technical (Web3 and Blockchain) Research
- Proactively stay abreast of updates on supported blockchains and DApps.
- Technically deconstruct new blockchains or DApps to evaluate their impact on product supportability.

Requirements

"Support Nature" mentality with an innate drive to investigate deep root causes and a perfectionist’s approach to system stability.
Proven experience in supporting applications.
Hands-on experience in using AI/LLMs to automate workflows or infrastructure monitoring.
Strong communication skills to bridge between end-users and the engineering team, including the ability to distill complex application/blockchain/DApps issues into clear, empathetic updates for users, and deliver root-cause data to engineers to expedite fixes.
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Rust, Python, Node.js, or Golang.

Nice to Have

Blockchain/Web3 technical depth with hands-on experience writing/deploying DApps in Solana or EVM.
Practical experience with staking across blockchains.
