Responsibilities

• Unlocking, modeling, and analyzing data within a modern data platform (Azure).
• Developing and maintaining data models according to the star schema (Kimball).
• Contributing to the development and improvement of BI architecture and data structure.
• Analyzing new data sources and advising on data and BI issues.
• Realizing and implementing new functionalities within sprints.
• Collaborating with data and IT colleagues to achieve sustainable and scalable solutions.
• Ensuring clear documentation and good transferability of solutions.

Requirements

• HBO (higher professional education) work and thinking level, preferably demonstrated by a relevant diploma.
• Demonstrable experience with data engineering and BI within an Azure environment.
• Knowledge of data modeling, such as the star schema (Kimball), and preferably Data Vault.
• Experience with tools such as DevOps and Git.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand complex data issues.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• You work in a structured manner and value documentation and transferability.
• Good command of the Dutch language.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
