Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement scalable and stable backend systems using JavaScript (Node.js).
• Collaborate closely with the team to ensure the quality, performance, and security of the application.
• Actively participate in the entire development process, from concept to deployment, and contribute valuable insights to architecture and design decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the JavaScript community and apply best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend JavaScript Developer (Node.js).
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.js.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), and cloud platforms (AWS).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• Proactive, analytical, and problem-solving mindset.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
