Blackwing is seeking a talented Backend Engineer to join our team in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This is a hybrid role, offering a dynamic environment to build innovative solutions in the crypto and DeFi space.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Golang.
• Experience with crypto and DeFi protocols.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Ability to write efficient and secure code.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
• Understanding of blockchain technology and smart contracts.
