Introduction

In this role, you will develop backend services, integrations, and scalable API structures using Python and FastAPI. You will join a technically driven organization known for its agile processes, high autonomy, and ample opportunities to influence architecture, structure, and technical enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Work on various integrations and APIs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in short sprints to develop new features.
• Advise on technical solutions and architectural decisions.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Backend Engineer, ideally with Python.
• Experience with FastAPI and an asynchronous Python stack is a plus.
• Experience with microservices architecture and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Knowledge of databases such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB.
• Proactive, strong communicator, and a true team player.
• Speak and write fluent Dutch.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
