Alongside is developing passive, long-term investing solutions for crypto assets. They believe in the power of index funds to equalize financial opportunities, similar to how S&P 500 index funds have historically outperformed a large percentage of hedge fund managers. They envision a similar dynamic playing out in crypto.

The team has prior experience at ConsenSys (Ethereum), Google, and Longevity Fund. They are backed by notable investors including Coinbase, Village Global, Not Boring Capital, and FJ Labs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to execute product goals and technical roadmap.
• Design and build industrial-grade backend systems with a focus on reliability and security.
• Lead the development of infrastructure, databases, and APIs.
• Take end-to-end ownership of systems, from test suites to deployments and maintenance.
• Contribute to protocol design and implementation.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience building and releasing secure and production-grade software.
• Experience leading the development of a backend system with real-world usage.
• Strong understanding of software and system design best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with open-source contributions.
