Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and robust backend systems powering our innovative products. Responsibilities

• Work in a team of 5-7 engineers, building next-generation applications and features, maintaining and improving existing ones, with a strong focus on high-quality code.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and other teams to understand the requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Be involved in the full software development lifecycle from design to deployment and scaling, following agile principles.
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of our backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical discussions, and mentor junior engineers.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our platforms remain cutting-edge.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in Backend Development.
• Strong proficiency in Java 11/17+ and Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud).
• Experience with AWS (especially EC2, RDS, S3, SQS, SNS) or other cloud platforms.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with database technologies such as PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Apache Kafka or other messaging systems.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture.
• Experience with tools like Prometheus/Grafana or similar for monitoring.
• Experience with Apache Cassandra.
