Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex backend systems in Python.
• Create scalable and stable APIs that seamlessly integrate with the e-commerce platform and external services.
• Provide input for architectural challenges, contributing to and implementing new technologies and best practices.
• Actively participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to develop and optimize new features.
• Contribute to the optimization of the database (PostgreSQL) and infrastructure (AWS, Kubernetes).

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Python Developer.
• Proven experience building and maintaining scalable APIs and complex backend systems.
• Experience with architectural challenges and contributing to technical solutions.
• Familiarity with contemporary tools and techniques in a mature development environment (CI/CD, unit testing, etc.).
• Proactive, strong analytical skills, and a true team player.
• Strong communication skills.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with AWS services.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of or experience with e-commerce platforms.
