In this role, you’ll be a crucial part of a small, agile team, working on high-impact projects that directly affect the user experience. You’ll have the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable backend services, collaborating closely with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Node.js backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Implement and maintain APIs, ensuring high availability and reliability. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience as a Backend Developer, with a strong focus on Node.js. Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript. Experience with database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and microservices architecture. Experience with RESTful APIs and GraphQL. Strong understanding of software development best practices, including testing, CI/CD, and version control (Git). Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Fluency in English (both written and spoken). You are located in the Netherlands!
