Azure Integration Developer

Introduction

AppyThings is actively seeking an Azure Integration Engineer to build API and event-based connections for enterprise environments. In this role, you will design secure and scalable integrations using Azure API Management and serverless components. You will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing integration solutions, leveraging the latest technological advancements within the Azure platform.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage integration solutions with Azure API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Event Grid.
• Develop APIs and microservices to facilitate communication between various applications and systems.
• Set up and optimize CI/CD pipelines for integration solutions using Azure DevOps.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve issues related to integrations.
• Advise on architectural choices and best practices within the Azure integration landscape.
• Write clear documentation and technical specifications.
• Collaborate with development teams, architects, and stakeholders to translate integration needs into effective solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Integration Engineer, preferably with a focus on Azure.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure integration services (API Management, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Event Grid, Service Bus).
• Experience with API design and development (REST, SOAP).
• Experience with CI/CD, preferably with Azure DevOps.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a team player mentality.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, GCP).
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
