Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data solutions in Azure.
Build and optimize data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
Advise clients on the best data architectures and technologies.
Collaborate with data scientists and business analysts to make data available for analyses and AI models.
Monitor and improve the performance of data solutions.
Share knowledge and expertise with your team and the broader ilionx community.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with at least 2 years using Azure.
In-depth knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Synapse Analytics.
Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform).
Familiarity with Python, SQL, and/or Scala.
Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Strong analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
Willingness to continuously develop yourself and embrace new technologies.
Proficient in Dutch.

Nice to Have

Experience with Azure ML, Cosmos DB, or other NoSQL databases.
Certifications in Azure Data Engineer Associate or similar.
Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools.
Affinity with AI and Machine Learning concepts.
