Responsibilities

As an Azure Cloud Specialist, also known as an Azure Cloud Engineer, your role will be crucial for the implementation and management of Azure environments at various (semi-)government agencies. You will work with complex IaaS and PaaS solutions and be responsible for the migration and optimization of applications to the cloud. Your responsibilities include:

• Implementing and managing Azure IaaS and PaaS solutions.
• Migrating existing infrastructures and applications to Azure.
• Optimizing cloud resources and managing costs.
• Ensuring security and compliance within the Azure environment.
• Advising clients on the best cloud strategies.
• Collaborating with a team of experienced Dutch engineers.
• Resolving technical queries and complex problems.

Requirements

For this position, we are looking for a driven Azure Cloud Specialist with a minimum of 3 years of experience in complex Azure environments. You are proactive, analytical, and possess strong communication skills. Specifically, we require:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience as an Azure Engineer/Specialist.
• In-depth knowledge of Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, App Services, Functions, SQL Database, Storage).
• Experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of ARM templates, PowerShell, and/or Terraform.
• Certifications such as AZ-104 (Azure Administrator Associate) or AZ-204 (Azure Developer Associate) are a plus.
• Excellent command of the Dutch language, both verbally and in writing.
• Independence and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to operate in a project-based environment.
• Must be a resident of the Netherlands.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
