Responsibilities

In Product Development at AFAS, we follow a 4-step process: defining new functionalities, designing and implementing features, testing and quality assessment, and enriching content. We have several assignments ready for you, but we are also open to your own ideas. Projects include:

• Smart AI assistant for support: Investigate how generative AI can help our support team find the right answers faster, utilizing historical data, knowledge base, and other data sources with an LLM. This project also involves exploring how to assist customers who have questions within specific processes or parts of our applications.
• Generative AI for content creation and process acceleration: Explore how generative AI, based on NLP and LLMs (like GPT-4), can help ERP application users generate content and speed up daily processes. For instance, can a smart AI assistant compare purchase quotations? This assignment focuses on identifying functional applications that add value within an ERP system.

Requirements

• HBO or WO (higher professional education or university) thinking and working level, with a strong focus on a 'do-attitude'.
• Available full-time for 5 months (let us know if your availability differs).
• Endless curiosity.
• Currently in the final phase of your HBO or WO studies.
• Ability to identify and create opportunities to elevate the team and AFAS.
• Critical thinking and the ability to express your own opinion.
• Desire to make an impact with your graduation research.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
