About the Position

Introduction

Splitero is seeking a visionary engineer to lead their AI transformation. In this role, you won't just be writing scripts; you'll be identifying high-leverage opportunities across the entire business—from underwriting to sales—and building the intelligent systems that power them. You will act as the internal authority on what is possible with LLMs, moving from rapid prototypes to production-ready deployments that streamline financial operations.

Responsibilities

Identify high-leverage opportunities across the business for AI integration, from underwriting to sales.
Build intelligent systems and rapidly prototype AI solutions.
Move prototypes to production-ready deployments to streamline financial operations.
Build and scale RAG pipelines and multi-agent frameworks.
Influence the company's technical direction.
Educate the broader engineering organization on AI-first methodologies.
Manage your own backlog.
Integrate artificial intelligence into the company's operations.

Requirements

Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, and Node.js.
Experience with workflow orchestration tools like n8n and Make.
Familiarity with AI-powered development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot.
Understanding of high-level architecture and logic.
Experience with a modern cloud stack (AWS, Vercel, PostgreSQL).

Nice to Have

Expertise in LLM APIs.
Knowledge of LangChain and LlamaIndex.
Familiarity with Vector Databases.
Experience with SOC 2 compliance and Data Privacy.
