Introduction

Are you an experienced Android/Kotlin developer with a strong ambition for crypto? This is an exciting opportunity to build a mobile application that will be used by millions of users!

This scale-up has developed an innovative solution that allows users to earn crypto by utilizing their idle data storage. You will be responsible for building an exceptional mobile app that runs on Android phones, contributing to the future of decentralized data storage.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product managers to define and deliver new features.
• Develop and launch new features for the Android mobile app, including a user dashboard, payment processing, and crypto viewing, sending, and receiving capabilities.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to a high-quality codebase.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience as an Android Developer, primarily with Kotlin.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
• Experience with Modern Android Development (MAD) practices and UI with Jetpack Compose.
• Understanding of the mobile development life cycle.
• Great ambition and genuine interest in the crypto market.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

• Experience with decentralized technologies or blockchain applications.
• Familiarity with Golang/Kubernetes is a plus.
