About the Position

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance the native Android application used by thousands of users.
Collaborate closely with product owners, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Kotlin.
Implement robust testing strategies to ensure the highest quality of the application.
Actively participate in code reviews, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Android development trends, technologies, and best practices, especially within the blockchain and payment space.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Android native mobile development.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin.
Proven experience building and maintaining complex Android applications.
Solid understanding of Android lifecycle, architectural patterns (MVVM, MVI), and material design guidelines.
Experience with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud messaging (Firebase).
Familiarity with version control systems (Git).
A passion for blockchain, cryptocurrencies, and the future of payments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

Experience with Jetpack Compose.
Familiarity with cryptographic principles and secure coding practices.
