All-round System Administrator

Introduction

Our partner is a one-stop-shop for everything related to networking: hardware, workstations, servers, and everything that comes with them. They are an established organization with long-term relationships with SMB companies, for example, in healthcare. They are looking for an All-round System Administrator to strengthen their team in Vianen.

Responsibilities

• Daily management of all ins and outs of IT infrastructure for SMB clients in the Utrecht region.
• Ensuring that servers, workstations, and networks operate flawlessly.
• Resolving incidents (1st and 2nd line) and advising clients on the best IT solutions.
• Installing, configuring, and maintaining both hardware and software.
• Managing backups and ensuring data security.

Requirements

• You are proactive, customer-oriented, and have strong analytical skills.
• You have at least 3 years of experience as a System Administrator or in a similar position.
• You have a good command of the Dutch and English languages.
• You are in possession of a driver's license B.
• You have knowledge and experience with:
  • Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy)
  • Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams)
  • Virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V)
  • Networking (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
  • Backup and recovery solutions
  • Cyber Security principles
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
