About the Position

Introduction

Amazon is seeking a design-builder to redefine the Prime experience using conversational and agentic interfaces. This role involves leveraging advanced AI models to create intelligent, proactive customer journeys that integrate with systems like Alexa and Rufus. The goal is to transform raw AI potential into elegant, trust-building interactions for a global audience of over 200 million members.

Responsibilities

This position emphasizes "vibe coding" as a core methodology for rapid prototyping, utilizing AI-driven workflows to bridge the gap between design vision and functional code. Key responsibilities include:

AI-Assisted Prototyping: Using generative tools for rapid concept-to-functional demo transitions.
Agentic UI & Voice: Crafting interfaces that act on behalf of the user to simplify complex commerce tasks.
Technical Synthesis: Collaborating directly with LLM scientists and engineers to map out data intents and conversational logic.
Define reusable design patterns to scale across Amazon’s ecosystem.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2-5 years of experience mentioned in job tags.
Proficiency in AI UX Design, Consumer AI Experiences, Customer Journeys, Agentic UI, Conversational UI, Voice Design, Recommendation Systems, Rapid Prototyping, AI-Assisted Design, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, Information Architecture, Generative Interfaces, AI-Driven Workflows, Product Management, Engineering Collaboration.
Strong understanding of Human-Centered Design, Consumer AI, Alexa, Rufus, Cross-functional Pods, AI Capabilities, Product, Engineering, Applied Science, User Needs, Technical Feasibility, Business Goals, Design Systems, and Usability Study.

Nice to Have

Experience creating content around AI, SaaS, software, automation, or developer tools.
Knowledge of vibe coding, AI agents, prompt engineering, or no-code/low-code tools.
Experience appearing in or producing tutorial-style YouTube videos.
