About the Position

Introduction

Our client is a pioneer in developing advanced AI Agents that seamlessly collaborate with specialists in the supply chain and logistics sector. What started 5 years ago as a “side hustle” has grown into a successful scale-up with 15 employees and an impressive and large client portfolio. As an AI Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing autonomous AI Agents, working at the intersection of AI research and software development. You will be a crucial link between AI Scientists and platform developers, involved in designing, building, and deploying the infrastructure and framework for these AI Agents. Your work will involve implementing complex algorithms through high-quality code to make the agents increasingly intelligent and autonomous, thereby enriching and improving human-machine collaboration.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and implement advanced AI Agents and their underlying infrastructure and frameworks.
Translate advanced AI/Machine Learning algorithms into robust and scalable software solutions.
Optimize the performance of AI Agents and scale their implementations.
Collaborate closely with AI Scientists and other Software Engineers.
Ensure the integration of AI Agents into existing platforms and systems.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI Agents, Large Language Models, and related technologies, applying them where relevant.
Monitor and improve code quality, performance, and scalability.

Requirements

Successfully completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Engineer, with a focus on AI solutions.
In-depth knowledge of Python, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and the Agile/Scrum methodology.
Experience with LangChain and Agentic frameworks is a plus.
Experience building and deploying AI Agents in a production environment is a plus.
Knowledge of Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).
