AI Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Consultant

Introduction

Dataiku is looking for an AI Healthcare & Life Sciences Solutions Consultant to join its Business Solutions department, with a strong focus on supporting US business expansion. The role will report to the Health & Life Science Sr. Director and involve close collaboration with Dataiku’s broader Business Solutions team, including Life Sciences Solution AI Engineers, as well as core teams like Sales, Customer, Partnership, Product, and R&D.

Responsibilities

This role involves three essential missions:

1. Strategic Vision for Healthcare & Life Sciences:

• Develop a deep understanding of Dataiku’s footprint in the industry.
• Form strong convictions about the value of analytics, ML, and AI agents for priority domains.
• Understand current positioning and target positioning within the ecosystem.
• Support strategic plans to accelerate growth in the Healthcare & Life Sciences sector.

2. Dataiku Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Healthcare & Life Sciences:

• Act as a bridge between precise industry needs, AI, and Dataiku as a product.
• Directly support clients and prospects as a trusted expert.
• Support the development of assets and engagement to boost Go-To-Market (GTM) effectiveness.
• Support sales and customer activities, helping understand customer dynamics and acting as a key spokesperson.
• Articulate Dataiku's specific value proposition for Life Sciences and enable client-facing teams.
• Capitalize on internal knowledge and client experiences (adoption stories, use-cases).
• Boost Dataiku’s visibility in Life Sciences and contribute to a thought-leadership strategy.
• Drive high-impact customer engagements with key decision-makers.

3. Contribute to the Identification and Rollout of Dataiku Solutions:

• Fuel the Solutions development pipeline through business experience, client workshops, market watch, and partnership discussions.
• Partner with the Solutions taskforce (Product, R&D, UX, Partnerships, Data Scientists) to ensure prompt development of relevant projects.
• Projects may include off-the-shelf solution design, customer-specific solutions, and feature/application development.
• Support the general push on AI Solutions by contributing to relevant documents, team enablement, customer interactions, and GTM material.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Healthcare and/or Life Sciences, with a strong interest in data, analytics, and AI impact.
• Experience working within Healthcare and/or Life Science organizations, preferably in the US, having successfully delivered AI projects or built technology for this objective.
• Precise understanding of the Healthcare & Life Sciences value chain, including complex processes and regulations in health provider organizations (e.g., hospital networks, specialized care centers, health payers) and pharma companies (R&D, Clinical Operations, sales force effectiveness).
• Ability to adjust communication for both expert and non-expert audiences.
• Passion for empowering people with data and AI.
• Strong Business Development mindset: understanding of software acquisition and ability to support business development ambitions.
• Experience in acquiring software in a Healthcare or Life Sciences organization and managing vendor relationships is a plus.
• Solid solution management experience, including outlining user journeys, scoping use cases, and supporting end-to-end development (customer co-builds, testing, reviews).
• Involved in conducting detailed feature/solution scoping and validation.
• Precise and effective in describing how data, analytics, and AI can add value, from automation and dashboards to machine learning and Generative AI.
• Good understanding of AI agents and ability to project their potential and evaluate ROI.
• Proven track record working with diverse teams and successfully engaging them on complex topics.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, capable of articulating complex situations and concepts to varied audiences.
• Based in the Americas and able to travel within the region (20% of the time) and occasionally internationally.

Nice to Have

• Experience in acquiring software in a Healthcare or Life Sciences organization and managing vendor relationship.
