About the Position

Introduction

Our client is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to engage directly with customers on high-impact AI challenges. This role involves designing, building, and deploying production-grade software that delivers tangible business results, working hands-on with customer data, and rapidly iterating based on real-world feedback for enterprise clients.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and deploy production software for high-impact AI problems.
Work directly with customers and their data.
Iterate quickly on solutions based on real-world feedback.
Develop and deploy GenAI and LLM-powered systems, including agentic workflows and retrieval-augmented applications.
Ensure reliability, thorough evaluation, and real user adoption of AI features from prototype to production.

Requirements

Strong customer focus and comfort navigating ambiguous environments.
Proficiency in Python and/or TypeScript for production systems.
Experience deploying data-heavy or AI-enabled applications.
Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 20%).

Nice to Have

Forward-deployed or customer-facing engineering experience.
Production experience with Machine Learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), or agentic AI systems.
Frontend experience, ideally with React.
