Introduction

Loop is seeking a talented AI Engineer to join its growing AI team. This role offers the opportunity to build AI models and features that directly impact the business, disrupting the freight audit and pay market. You will be instrumental in automating complex back-office workflows and tasks using advanced AI.

Responsibilities

• ML modeling: Train, evaluate, and deploy machine learning models.
• AI engineering: Utilize and orchestrate API LLM models to build agents that solve business problems.
• Backend engineering: Develop frameworks to enable AI agents at scale.
• Focus on document extraction and understanding using multimodal LLMs, including in-house foundation models.
• Ensure high accuracy, reliability, and scalability of Loop's machine learning platform.
• Expand AI capabilities into workflow automation and audit using agentic systems.

Requirements

• 1+ years of hands-on experience in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) or shipping agents to production.
• Solid understanding of fundamental ML algorithms, especially multimodal LLMs.
• Experience fine-tuning LLMs and deploying them to production or building out agentic systems.
• Ability to ship high-quality code to production.
• Experience in cloud environments (AWS, Google, Azure).
• Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate in a cross-functional team environment with domain experts.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
