We are looking for a highly inquisitive and hands-on AI Engineer to develop and continuously enhance intelligent workflows within our product. This role is at the intersection of model experimentation, AI-driven product development, and full-stack implementation.

You will work closely with the founders to prototype, integrate, and optimize the deployment of LLMs and other AI systems across our platform. This technical, creative, and fast-paced position is ideal for someone who thrives in an experimental setting and uses AI tools daily.

Responsibilities

Design and implement intelligent workflows powered by foundational models (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, etc.).
Investigate and incorporate multi-step reasoning through Chain-of-Thought and agent-style methodologies.
Fine-tune open-source models or conduct prompt tuning experiments to enhance task accuracy.
Utilize tools such as Cursor and Claude Code to rapidly prototype and iterate on products.
Engage across the tech stack to integrate AI features (Node.js + Supabase + React).
Conduct micro-model evaluations to assess hypothesis-to-output cycles.
Leverage AI to enhance your own workflow and automate internal tools.
Contribute to our experimentation engine to determine the optimal use of models.
Implement AI Voice agents.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

Prior experience in a startup environment, demonstrating adaptability to chaos, enthusiasm for learning new skills, and a proactive approach to responsibilities.
Familiarity with foundational models (such as OpenAI, Gemini, Claude, Mistral, etc.).
In-depth knowledge of prompt engineering, reasoning pathways, agent orchestration, and invoking tools.
Practical experience in model fine-tuning and utilizing vector stores.
Proficient in using Cursor or Claude Code, with daily usage preferred.
Solid backend expertise in Node.js and Supabase/Postgres.
Ability to create UI flows using React.
A strong passion for leveraging AI not merely as a tool but as an integral aspect of product design.
A startup mindset: humble, resourceful, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

Preferred qualifications:

Experience working with LiveKit or real-time communication platforms.
Exposure to LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar agent frameworks.
Product-minded engineer, understanding the "why" behind features and contributing to UX/feature design.
Experience translating abstract AI capabilities into intuitive product workflows.
