Responsibilities

Developing, integrating, and deploying AI and machine learning solutions, from model to working application.
Designing and building reliable backend, API, and full-stack solutions around AI.
Integrating AI models with industrial systems, cloud platforms, and customer applications.
Developing secure, explainable, and maintainable AI solutions according to MLOps principles.
Implementing monitoring, version control, and deployment processes for AI applications.
Working on innovative projects in process optimization, predictive maintenance, computer vision, and generative AI.
Collaborating with data engineers, software developers, and technical specialists on future-proof AI solutions.
Ensuring security, compliance, and responsible use of AI within the organization.
Actively contributing to the further development of a new Data & AI team.

Requirements

A completed HBO or university education in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or similar.
Experience with software development in Python and/or C#/.NET.
Experience with API development and backend or full-stack development.
Experience with or affinity for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and MLOps.
Knowledge of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.
Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented.
Proficient in Dutch and English.
Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

Nice to Have

Experience with AI frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
Experience with edge computing, computer vision, reinforcement learning, or industrial automation.
