Introduction

Circle Logistics is a leading freight brokerage and third-party logistics provider seeking a hands-on AI Automation Engineer. This role involves building intelligent agents and tools to enhance team efficiency and streamline operations across various departments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions to optimize freight brokerage operations and boost team productivity.
• Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, Carrier Sales, and Track & Trace teams to understand needs and gather requirements for automation.
• Integrate automation tools and intelligent agents with the TransportPro TMS platform for seamless workflow optimization.
• Monitor and analyze automation performance metrics to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and ROI.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve automation issues to ensure system reliability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automation processes and best practices.
• Provide training and ongoing support to end-users for new automation tools.
• Stay updated with emerging AI and automation technologies to recommend innovative solutions.

Requirements

• Proven experience building AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, n8n, or similar.
• Strong Python skills and proficiency with REST APIs, webhooks, and data integrations.
• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs) such as GPT-4, Claude, or open-source alternatives.
• Experience building business intelligence or decision-support tools powered by LLMs.
• Proficiency with SQL and database querying.
• Ability to work directly with department teams to identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, and deploy projects.
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex integrations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and training.
• Freight, logistics, or supply chain industry experience is a plus.
• TMS platform experience is a significant advantage.
