Introduction

Injective is seeking a highly motivated Accounting Manager with experience in the crypto industry to support its rapidly expanding operations. This role involves leading core accounting processes, recording financial transactions, managing payments, assisting with tax compliance, and preparing financial reports in line with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will optimize month-end close procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable financial reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, regulatory reporting, and state filing deadlines.
• Create and implement enhanced financial reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement accounting software solutions that meet Injective's needs.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of core accounting functions, including accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and investments.
• Reconcile bank accounts, crypto wallets, and corporate card accounts.
• Assist with the review of U.S. and international payroll processing.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
• Support year-end audit activities and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
• Prepare and manage annual corporate tax filings.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Partner with external tax advisors, auditors, and service providers.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA license preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting, Audit, and/or Tax.
• Prior experience working in the crypto industry is highly preferred.
• Experience with crypto accounting, including digital asset transactions, wallet reconciliations, and token-related activity.
• Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.).
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage tight deadlines and responsibilities effectively; ability to multitask and succeed in a fast-paced environment.
• Desire to take on challenges, tasks, and assignments.
• Willingness to work within a collaborative, driven, and professional environment.
