Responsibilities

As a 3D Lead Generalist in the gaming sector, you will be a pivotal figure within the art team, leading the development of high-quality 3D assets and environments for the NFT game. Your role is multifaceted, blending hands-on artistic creation with leadership responsibilities. You will:

• Guide a team of 3D artists, ensuring all visual elements align with the game's artistic vision and technical requirements.
• Oversee modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and VFX.
• Provide feedback and mentorship to your team members.
• Collaborate closely with game design, engineering, and product management departments to seamlessly integrate 3D assets into the game engine and ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize your expertise in various 3D software and game engines to maintain a streamlined workflow and push the boundaries of visual fidelity within the NFT gaming space.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a 3D Generalist in the gaming industry.
• Strong skills in 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, animation, and VFX.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience guiding and mentoring a team of artists.
• Proficiency in relevant 3D software (e.g., Maya, Blender, Zbrush, Substance Painter).
• Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong portfolio showcasing your best work.
• Dutch language skills preferred (working knowledge required for this role based in the Netherlands).

• Salary range typically between €50,000 (Junior/Medior) - €90,000 (Senior) gross per year.
